Tone P, a Platinum American artist, record producer, and songwriter from Washington, DC. He is best known for his Gogo influenced music production. From 2007-2009, Tone P and his cousin formed a production group called "Best Kept Secret". 

Best Kept Secret produced the Gogo influenced single "Pretty Girls" Wale's debut album with Interscope Records. Tone would leave the group in 2009 to produce solely as "Tone P". In 2011, he produced 4 songs on Wale's sophomore album "Ambition", scoring another criticially acclaimed Gogo influenced record "Bait", which he also wrote and featured on the chorus. Tone P also wrote the hook for the self titled album song "Ambition", featuring Rick Ross & Meek Mill. "Ambition" is now certified Platinum single by RIAA. 

Tone P has produced records that includes J Cole, Giggs, Meek Mill, Curren$y, Raheem DeVaughn, Gucci Mane, Jhene Aiko, Trey Songz, 2 Chainz, Wale, Rick Ross, Common, Eric Bellinger, 3ohBlack, Lloyd, Pusha T, Bun B, and more. 

Tone P has been nominated for BET, Centric, and BET Hip-Hop Awards. Tone P music production has also been recognized by President Obama.
