Tone P, a Platinum American artist, record producer, and songwriter from Washington, DC. He is best known for his Gogo influenced music production.  From 2007-2009, Tone P and his cousin formed a production group called "Best Kept Secret". 

Best Kept Secret produced the Gogo influenced single "Pretty Girls"  Wale's debut album with Interscope Records.  Tone would leave the group in 2009 to produce solely as "Tone P".  In 2011, he produced 4 songs on Wale's sophomore album "Ambition", scoring another criticially acclaimed Gogo influenced record "Bait", which he also wrote and featured on the chorus.  Also on Wale's "Ambition" album, he wrote the chorus for the self titled song "Ambition" featuring Rick Ross & Meek Mill, which has become a certified Platinum single by RIAA.  Tone P would go on to produce records for more Artists that include J Cole, Meek Mill, Curren$y, Jhene Aiko, Trey Songz, 2 Chainz, Wale, Rick Ross and more. 

Tone P has been nominated for numerous awards that include BET, Centric, and BET Hip-Hop Awards.  President Obama's #1 record on his 2016 summer playlist as Wale’s “Love Hate Thing” which was produced by Tone P, Stokley Williams (Mint Condition), and Sam Dew.
